Normally bustling with people every day of the week from sunrise to midnight, and considered a 'home away from home' for many, the Club's emptiness was a unique moment in its 130+ years of history.

The Death of Advertising

COVID-19's decimation of the outdoor advertising industry was a visible to every single Cairo resident, as streets, bridges, and highways suddenly became littered with empty billboard frames. The Death of Advertising is a visual exploration of the ubiquity of outdoor advertising, when it ceases to function as intended.
